Utilizing peanut oil to create a high-value alternative oil for timber oils and coatings

The Georgia Peanut Commission awarded phase two funding to Drs. Branson Ritchie and Jason Locklin for their project to convert peanut oil into a high-value alternative plant-based oil that can reduce the use of linseed, tung and similar oils used in timber oils and coatings.
